Yeah let the infant starve. Blame TSA not the person carrying food for a helpless baby.

We brought formula through and they did different tests every time, they have no clue what they are doing. Some checkpoints it takes 2 minutes one place it was 20.

I mostly fly out of IAH. I rarely take out my toiletries. And have never had an issue.

I went through security there with a frying pan sticking out of my bag, and my mother made it through with various metal cheese knives and olive picks. No one batted an eye. Security in Sao Paulo weren't amused, however.

Lafayette has had the scanner for a good while now. At least a year, maybe two.

I always reply "only if we cuddle after" when they say they need to do a pat down. I try to keep it awkward as possible.

You don't have to take off your belt.. And I don't in Orlando, Chicago, or DFW.. but the bumfrick power trip TSA in Gulfport, Ms made me with a threat.

I honestly don't know why they don't make a major limit on carry ons. I'm sorry, but 90% of things don't need to be carried on. This is coming from a guy that only carried on to Europe for 8 days with 2 kids under 4.

They should allow people one zip lock gallon bag to carry on, and that's it. Put a tablet in there, a couple of pills, and be good to go.

I'm sorry but breast milk, breast pumps, all that crap is not needed. If you can't fit your crap in a gallon bag, you don't need to fly.

We'd be a hell of a lot safer if that was the procedure and a 5 year old could run TSA checks.

Nah. I can't fly without my booksack.

Small 10 year old dell laptop running linux to still be useable. Magnifying glass. Pills. A book. Deodorant. Toothbrush. Cough drops. 2 pairs of socks and two pairs of boxers.

Come to think of it, that would probably fit in a Ziploc.

That's what I'm saying, for the actual flight you don't need much at all. A lapttop bag at most, but if they did a tight restriction people would adjust very very quickly to bringing smaller portable laptops/ tablets.

They could also do something where they offer like a speed bag check type of thing for carry ons. Very similar to how they do door checked bags now, but they do it pre-security.

Yeah you read it right. Explain why a mother needs to bring breast milk on a plane? She can't breast feed during the dang flight? Put extra milk in the check on. Why does a dad need breast milk? How often do dads travel with breast fed kids without the mom? Is that really a necessity? You need a breast pump in the carry on? LOl, ugh no. check it.

My safety is more important than minor inconveniences. I have two kids under 4 that were both breast fed by my wife until 12 months fwiw.

The whole idea we "HAVE TO HAVE" carry on luggage is simply wrong. If we weren't allowed any carry ons beyond something like medicine, we could adjust very quickly.

People say, "I have to work while flying". Ugh no, you don't actually. If you literally weren't allowed to work, we would adjust very quickly. Jobs and schedule would change, but we would easily adjust.
