If he's found guilty, I cannot wait for the "it was an all white jury" excuse by fools that are too ignorant to understand that both the prosecution and defense have to approve the jury.

A man who stabbed a university student to death with a ceremonial knife has been found guilty of murder.
Vickrum Digwa used a 21cm (8in) blade he said he carried as part of his Sikh faith to kill 18-year-old Henry Nowak, who was walking home from a night out in Southampton on 3 December.
Digwa, 23, told Southampton Crown Court a "wicked lie" that he had acted in self defence, claiming the teenager had used a racist insult, punched him and knocked his turban off.
However, the jury rejected this defence and found him guilty of murder.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary has referred itself to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) over the death as officers initially handcuffed and arrested the victim as he lost consciousness.

Let’s not forget the Asians and Muslims on this jury either.
It may be a non-black jury but it ain’t an all white jury.

Without a doubt, Anthony will be found guilty. It is the punishment phase that will be interesting.

Object to anything?
Asked and answered.
Leading.
Hearsay.
They literally asked a witness was it murder ir self defense. You can't do that. Witnesses don't make that call or statement.
But defense is just sitting on their hands and letting the prosecution run wild.
Guess they already have the $500k and are just riding it out.

Democratic voting, the jury certainly does not have to to be black.

It is a court appointed defender for an indigent client.
They ain’t getting $500K.
He’s more likely to get fricked by the court à la Saul Goodman at the start of Better Caul Saul.

Just go watch the Sikhs leader news conference in England. They condemned the murder completely
Look how our black leaders here act ….

Said he huge gapping whole in his chest
This stands out to me. A knife wound is typically clean and precise. The blade in question is not what I think would considered physically large either in terms of thickness. It's essentially a pocket knife, not a Rambo special.. Yet somehow this relatively small knife was slammed into his chest with such force that it penetrated the breast bone and went 2 inches deep into his heart. Not only that but pictures of the deceased show a huge gaping hole in his chest. That to me suggests that not only was he stabbed but that the blade was either purposely twisted or pulled down once inside him for maximum damage. He wasn't simply stuck quickly with the knife in a defensive strike.

With the defense witnesses I see more stuff like the below. In the end they either neutralize their original answers or make it out to be that Anthony staying under another teams tent and/or refusing to leave when asked went wasn’t something they would do.
The witness first described what appeared to be a punch or very hard push, but then backtracked to not being sure what happened.
They also first imply Track meets are big social events including using tent areas, but then they also state they don’t enter others’ areas.
I hope the prosecution touches on that both being more social and not entering other schools areas are not mutually exclusive concepts. There is more space in the stands and elsewhere to socialize than just the area where the school tents are set up. Memorial’s tent was only covering the walk way because it was moved to cover Austin’s body.
I also hope he drives home that even if the tents were party zones there was still zero justification for Anthony using deadly force.

quote:
During cross-examination, prosecutor Bill Wirskye explained that he and the witness met a few weeks ago at the Frisco Police Department.
Wirskye questioned the witness's memory, asking if the witness was "kind of just guessing" regarding some of his statements.
After some discussion over whether Austin's contact with Karmelo was a "push, punch, or jab," Wirskye asked the witness to reenact the contact.
The witness appeared confused and repeatedly said, "I don't know."

The witness said he does not personally enter other teams' tents.

Has our resident MENSA member been here today to advise us bigots why Karmelo should go free?

If tweet fails to load, click here. The witness that got obliterated by prosecutors is apparently Lacey, the RB that just committed to LSU. It’s not said, but that’s clearly who it is.

I thought they weren't supposed to be doxxing the minor witnesses?
That reporter needs to be tarred and feathered.
