The ever vigilant Ben Crump has stayed away from this one. That means to me that even Crump as stupid as he is, knows this guy has zero defense.

Most minorities are pretty democrat. The exceptions are Cubans that are strongly republican or groups like Filipinos or Vietnamese that are lean democrat but are closer to a split. Though large amounts of Christians in those populations may have an impact.
A lot of older minorities are very socially conservative but fiscally more left wing when it comes to social programs and such. Though I think a lot of the wealthier people might less in favor of the latter and make up the small % that vote R or independent. And their kids do tend to be at least a little less conservative socially so probably even more democrat.

He doesn’t but that doesn’t mean he can’t win this in some way. All it takes is one juror. Even if they think he’s guilty internally they could still use this as a political “statement” (they might see it as left vs right) just like in the OJ trial

There was no threat to the black former Baton Rouge thug other than being “disrespected” by a white guy telling him to basically follow the rules and to leave that school’s area as each school has an area to leave their stuff and hang out that other schools competitors are not supposed to go. There were other places to hang out with people from different schools. There were coaches, officials, other parents, and teammates from every school in Frisco including the black thug’s who would have broken up any fight before it got out of hand had a fight actually happened. They weren’t close enough to stop what was like a sucker punch stabbing to the heart as they are not used to dealing with that kind of trash.
Many eyewitness have said the black thug egged on a confrontation and told the victim to push him and see what happens. The back thug did this knowing he had a knife with him that he should not have been on school property or at a school sporting event in the first place.
Besides telling police what he did he had to ask them if what he did was in self defense. If you are not sure in your own mind then it is not self-defense. You are just realizing you screwed up and trying to find a way out.
People allowed to see a security video have stated there is nothing that looks like the black was in danger. Most movement is the stabbing and a the reaction after it.
Also, The choke hold in NY was due to threats to multiple people putting the entire train car in fear that have been verified in videos, and the choke hold wasn’t intended to kill the guy but subdue him. The thug had other health issues.
BR’s exported thug brought the knife with him to meet, brought the knife with him while being where he wasn’t supposed to be and stirring stuff up and bringing bag close to him to be able to reach into it, and then quickly stabbed the victim straight into the heart. He meant to stir up trouble, cause a conflict with his knife with him, and he meant to kill/murder the victim.
I know families with kids at that school and in same grade at the time, and they said their kids thought the thug was trouble, brought knives to school before without getting in trouble, and even was heard saying something like he could get away with murder at this school.
