This guy is going to be 100 percent guilty.

The entire case will come down to : Is it ok to kill whitey if they call you something that you don't like ? Sadly, someone on the jury will say yes, it is ok.

There are going to be a decent amount of Texas people in a jury pool that carry a knife with them a lot. They will try to say that he carried it with him very regularly.
Obviously prosecution will want to prove that he in fact did not, and brought it that day explicitly.

At a track meet he was not running in or invited to. Showed up on his own.
Athletes have wrist bands to get into that side, parents have to wait by the cop/coach (volunteer) for their kid to come out. If I bring drinks to my kid I have to find one of his teammates to bring it to him. He should have not been back there to begin with. but it happened

Will be interesting to see how they defend him bringing a knife to a track meet and then doing something intentional to invoke a reaction. Dude went with a game plan of murdering someone that day
