I'm definitely on the fence about them, maybe they'll grow on me once I see them in person, I was the same about the Land Cruiser. The Tundra, Sequoia, Tacoma, and GX550 all look great though and I've come around to the LC.

The only company that doesn't have cars sitting on the lots for months are Toyota/Lexus.

I have to disagree, where $1,000/mon note are the norm this is No big deal.

I see no reason to get rid of our 2019 at these prices.
I have a 2019 4Runner too. Don't you think it's completely silly that we don't have a button to open our trunks and that our entertainment system screen looks like it's from 2005? ETA: I would rather have no screen than the ugly screen. I don't need entertainment on my screen but if it's going to be right there in my face either be minimalist or good looking. Not this weird in between.

Otherwise I love my car

I love the look of Toyota SUVs but their tech and Infotainment is so bad and outdated.

They look 10 years behind.

As the driver of a 2005 vehicle, I will go Unabomber and say I hate modern screens and enjoy my old one. Once I hacked in Android Auto I was set.

My car is getting older but the more I think about it, the more I don't want to give it up for a more modern car. Naturally aspirated V6 with over 300 hp. Real buttons and gauges. Don't have to deal with massive screens for no practical reason.

I really don't get why a company like Toyota is going to charge these prices, when they are in the middle of a massive engine recall for a class of vehicles the manufacture.

New car prices are absurd. Who wants to pay $60k for a damn car?

Along with the LX 600, Lexus is coming out with the LX700h in early 2025.

You get 1 mpg better than the 600, an additional electric engine, 50 more HP and no 3rd row.

Lexus of NOLA has a few 2024 600s on the lot. Waiting to see if they gotta move them to make room for the 2025s.

Its also only a 5 year old vehicle

I hope my next new yota lasts me until I croak.

Part of the reason you buy a Toyota in the first place is to keep it a long time. They often don't quite have the power of other brands, or the gas mileage. I've seen people say a Tacoma gets the gas mileage of a V8 with the power of a go-kart but that thing should go as long as you want it to if you maintain it.

Prices aren't that bad at all IMO. A lot of people like getting the base models and doing their own mods, and at current day prices that's perfectly fine.

We have a bunch of idiots in this country that have continually paid insane prices for these vehicles, so why wouldn't the auto makers continue to bend them over? All while Toyota quality is starting to sag.

Grab a set of balls and get comfortable driving an older vehicle, then these prices will come down. It's no wonder younger people hate our system - they are screwed with student loans, new cars are stupidly priced, inflation makes food expensive, and houses are simply a pipe dream. But at least BlackRock is doing well.

Expected much higher... base 2013 SR5 was over $30k a decade ago. Most things have inflated more than these prices.
