Americans can’t seem to stop blaming. This isn’t going to make you or anybody feel better. It isn’t going to make Covid go away. Why not just focus on getting through all this without blaming. Nobody asked for it sometimes shite happens and nobody can stop it.

Furthermore, instead of blaming the federal government, why not blame the local and state officials WHO HAD THE POWER to shut down cities and counties?
NY officials were tweeting that people should still carry on as usual as late as ealry march 2020.

The United States is a country where it's not only legal to openly criticize the government, but encouraged. In fact, some people make millions of dollars doing just that. Add to that our sudden new trend of self-loathing and white liberal guilt.

Anything that paints their government in an even slightly negative light gets covered up. Hell, the Chinese government made a billionaire disappear for criticizing their President's handling of Covid19. Not a random rural farmer, a literal fricking BILLIONAIRE. For people who says Chinese data is bogus they have done more to contain the virus than the US has. They completely locked down entire cities, required every citizen to wear n95 mask, made people who were sick stay in containment facilities until recovered so they don't infect their family, shut down travel into certain cities. All the US has done is shut down non essential business and pump money into the stock market. They need to take more drastic measures to contain this virus.

Testing and data gathering should never be viewed as an embarrassment. We are dealing with objective reality, not appearances. The detection of more cases in more areas isn't a basis for shame. Anyone who views it this way is not being helpful.
