I much prefer Saltgrass Steakhouse to Texas Roadhouse.

Never heard of Saltgrass.
Texas Roadhouse is pretty iffy. Can't remember the last time I went to one, much less the last time I went to one and actually thought it was good.

Olive Garden isn't exactly top of the class, but imagine living somewhere that Applebee's is the top casual dining spot.
I've never had worse food at a restaurant in my life than Applebee's food. I've eaten there a grand total of two times in 35 years and it was horrible both times.

I think you meant Georgia, not Alabama. No way Waffle House isn't #1 in Georgia. There are certain exits off interstates in Atlanta that have TWO Waffle Houses, one on each side to serve traffic traveling in either direction.
