I don’t know who is the best for academics but Jesuit seems to have the most loyal alumni of any school

I agree with this list and its rankings. All good schools, any one will take you far.
But statistical rankings never tell the full story. Networking and connections, and knowing the right people, are so key. A Newman or Jesuit education is going to open doors beyond just getting into a good college. Can't say the same for a school like Ben Franklin, as good as it may be. You get what you pay for.

NOLA connections are irrelevant for most Franklin graduates. They leave for college and never come back.

I guess they didn’t want to pay to be part of this metric.
I always find it suspicious when certain lists involve voting or some other metric that highlights a specific feature or flaw in the statistics.

I’m not sure that’s accurate at all. The class of ‘26 had kids accepted to and attending Duke, Tulane, Vandy, Penn, Stanford, Brown, Dartmouth, and Columbia. Valedictorian went to Carnegie Mellon. That’s pretty much the norm every year. Yes, it’s definitely religious (non-denominational) and it’s a core part of the main curriculum but that’s what’s appealing to parents. Also, it being the “anti-woke” version of Episcopal helps too. It’s definitely not worth the tuition but it’s a very solid school.

Catholic is a great school, to say otherwise is just ignorant, but alumni have a very inflated view of self importance. It’s the same multigenerational arrogance that Jesuit grads have.
