It only lasts about 40 or 50 years after HS graduation with NOLA people.

Oh yeah, I have friends that graduated 45 years ago and still get into it, especially when Jesuit and Holy Cross play each other.

Some students don't take the ACT. Depends on what colleges they are appying to.

Notes on St Martin and McGehee

St Martin made an excellent hire as Head of School a few years back. She is an alumnae and is all in. She seems to have energized the parents, staff and the alumni and has the school going in a great direction. They just got their new head of upper school from McGehee.

As to McGehee, if you are a woke, noveau riche transplant who brings the Karen, it is the right place for your daughter. They have an interim head of school and an interim head of upper school for at least another year. The turnover for teachers is not ideal. In the last decade they lost PhD instructors in Math and Science as well as the person above who has an MA from Oxford in literature. They also seem to be worried about spending more money on rebranding that more important things.

Central Private should've stayed in that group.

Todd Graves (net worth 22B) and Holden Spaht (net worth 4B) both graduated from Episcopal and were in school at the same time. I'd say that's pretty impressive for a school with maybe 300-400 kids in high school.

I bring their average way down.

Dunham is number 5? I guess it should be top 5 for what they charge for tuition .

What is their criteria? Cost? Half or more of them are just liberal trash schools that I would never want my kid to step foot in.

Nothing can top the ego and arrogance of a Jesuit alum, well maybe the German WWII SS troops.

The short bus your kid rides on doesn’t stop at good private schools.
