Kids and dogs get to me. Certain songs can as well. I can't think of just random emotional outbursts though.

Anyway, for me it is a red flag when males are never emotional or deny/suppress their emotions. And I've always found it ironically and bizarrely interesting how posters on this site try to eschew emotions. Sports are tremendously emotional, especially football, and intense emotions have been a special aspect of the LSU football program for years.
By the way, emotions aren't just about crying or being upset. There are lots of human emotions that people just don't typically label "emotional".

I remember my last high school baseball game. Getting knocked out of the playoffs and then sitting around in the outfield after the game. Everyone is pouring their heart out, and I think it kind of dawns on us all that not only will we never play together again, but in a few weeks some of these guys that you’ve bled with for 4 years will be out of your life forever. The realization kind of started to set in that night that the real world was coming fast. That isn’t “random” emotion, but it’s probably the only time I’ve cried like a baby in front of a group of 20 guys.
I’ve gotten emotional watching highlights from the 2014 World Cup, which I do consider random. A well put together highlight film with the right music and theme of patriotism is going to get me. What about that. It’s John Brooks

I took my 6 yr old daughter on a date to see The Greatest Show this winter. The part in the beginning where the little girl is writing the boy and then time flies by and he comes calling for her made my cry in the theater. Its the only time my daughter has seen me cry and Im not sure she did bc it was dark and I played it off like it was allergies

You may be an EMPATH.
It is both an extreme blessing and an embarrassing curse. Most empaths don't know they are empaths. I am only now starting to understand it myself. You should look it up and see if that's you.

One that always gets me is seeing Derek Jeter and Andy Pettitte come out to get Mariano Rivera for the last time. Its a beautiful, very real moment.

We played a soccer tournament (u10) this past weekend-our final game in group play was do or die. Shaking hands with the kids who lost after was brutal. Poor guys were crushed. I didnt cry, but i definitely had to take a few deep breaths and compose.
I have a penis, but i’m pretty sure i’m a girl.

When I was taking a bunch of Prednisone, I would get really emotional. A couple of times I started shaking in a meeting. When I was taking a bunch of that, those Reach out and touch someone Bell ads (Youtube) would get me tearing up.
