Have you ever gotten emotional for no reason before? This has happened to me twice. Once it was when I was presenting an award to a coworker in front of my school and I started to tear up, which was extremely embarrassing. From then on out I was known around campus as the "crying coach". I remember posting about this in the "Your Most Embarrassing Moment" thread. The second was at the Athletics-Astros Jackie Robinson tribute day and I started to get a little teared up thinking about Jackie Robinson's path to the MLB. This was strange because I started to envision Robinson's sacrifice, and I started to feel myself getting a little choked up. I had a few people in my section coming up and asking if I was okay, which was embarrassing as hell also.

Opening this thread because I realize how shitty the OT has become.

The day your mother and I conceived you, I knew you were doomed from day one.

They had that one guy awhile back talk about crying in a meet and greet for a new job. That was a pretty epic thread.

I won't call it randomly and I have no attachment to these people or their stories ... but watching "Long Lost Family" gets me every damn time.

a few weeks ago when I picked my daughter up from school, she didn't run to me and hug me like she has always done, she simply walked up and said "come on Dad, let's go home"

when I got in the truck my mind immediately went to the "I wonder if yesterday was the last time she will ever run up and hug me" and I started crying like a bitch

goddamn kids

It's not for no reason... I am a woman.

Troops surprising their families when they come home unexpectedly always get me in the feels.

Also, the Folgers holiday commercials...

This...

I am very rarely emotional - but watching some of the videos of soldiers returning home and surprising their kids - gets me every time

Almost makes me wish I had joined the military - oh wait - no it doesn't...

Did you listen to "Butterfly Kisses" or "Cat's in the Cradle" when you got home?

Sometimes when my four year old does little things that show me that he’s not a ‘baby’ anymore, I can’t help it..
