is this white privilege or are you black?

One time I went to a wrestling seminar in an old warehouse, sort of a meet and greet. Anyhow, after hearing the guys speak a bit about their life behind the scenes I was called upon during the Q&A session. It was too much for me to handle, I broke down. It’s real to me damn it.

I can't watch those, or the ones where dogs are seeing their owner after coming home from serving.

You know I'm just messing with you Dave. I love your threads about morality and your random teaching stories. Where tf do you teach anyway? A lot of weird shite happens there

I know WHY i got really emotional, but I still feel like it was stupid. I had a dream a few weeks back in which I woke up in a hospital bed and, while I had no recollection of the fire, I knew I had been in a place that had caught on fire and I got hurt trying to get other people out. I also knew I was dying and didn't have much time left, so I was relieved that my wife and other members were there. I was holding her hand and talking a little bit when a doctor came in and started pushing everyone out because he said I needed to rest. I got really upset because I told him I was dying and just wanted to spend my last few moments with my wife and say goodbye, but he wouldn't listen to me. I was all alone in my hospital bed dying and frantically scribbling out everything I wanted to tell my wife before I died when I finally woke up and, DUDE, the emotions were still going strong. I cried like a bitch for a good 10 minutes and I couldn't get back to sleep for hours.

On a church mission trip, I was doing a devotion for the helpers before the kids arrived and lost it. No idea where it came from or what caused it. Still scratch my head at that one.

I have her box of chicken tenders with a side of mayo ready as soon as she walks in the door.

We don't like making momma mad in our house.

Who was the guy who got emotional in a job interview in Dallas and teared up for no reason?

fricking the movie Big Daddy used to get me when they were in the courtroom and they said he couldn’t keep the kid.

I haven't cried yet, but I'm always mad that the end of Armageddon where Willis says goodbye to his daughter gets me choked up.

Talk about a cheesy, dumb movie that should have no emotional effect, but that scene always has way more impact on me than it should.

a few weeks ago when I picked my daughter up from school, she didn't run to me and hug me like she has always done, she simply walked up and said "come on Dad, let's go home"

when I got in the truck my mind immediately went to the "I wonder if yesterday was the last time she will ever run up and hug me" and I started crying like a bitch

goddamn kids

I know exactly how you feel. I remember when my dog was just a puppy. He used to rely on my so much; it's like he didn't even want to go outside without me next to him.

Then one day I opened the back door and he just took off running. I realized then he no longer needed me the way he used to. I was overwhelmed with emotion. Sadness and confusion. But then I was proud. Proud that I had raised him the best I could and that he was ready to explore the world on his own.
