Shoe strings

I bought a pair of shoes (Bjorn I think) in the 90’s that came with leather shoelaces. I have kept them for >25 years (the laces, not the shoes) and rotate them to each new pair of favorite shoes I buy. They never come untied.

Whores are the greatest value in the history of the universe.

Do the math on what it would cost. Find two or three you want to have in rotation. Negotiate a volume discount.

Now run those numbers against marrying one.

It's not even close

All true, but you do not start this process with cheap whores.

My dad always said don’t go cheap on things you use constantly, like door knobs, locks, and faucets for sinks.

+Sheets. This is my thing: I'm willing to pay upwards of $2000 for a set of sheets I actually like. So far, the only ones I actually like are the Casper Sleep Soft and they don't make them anymore.

If anyone has an unused set, I'm legit willing to buy them for a good price

Floss picks. I bought a cheap brand recently and they break as soon as they make contact with a tooth.

Our $3500 Stearns and Foster sucks. $800 Purple mattress was better.

Power tools that make me money. Anything at the house is harbor freight special.

Rifle scopes and ammo.

Edc gun, my fun ones are cheap-os, but the one I depend on is $$$$.

Anything brake related on a vehicle. Forward movement is a privilege, stopping is survival situation.
