True story of my dumbassery. Not Pat O' Briens.

Wife and I with stroller. Tuesday 1:00 in the afternoon. Just wanted lunch and a grilled chicken po-boy. Guy came scrambling and waving his arms? it was like I was trying to go into Hustler club.

I really never knew. Beautiful day. Just wanted lunch and a respectable beer in the court yard. No dice.

Omni has a rooftop pool?

Seasons over.

For a cheap hour activity.... you can make it longer. Take a ride across the river on the ferry, I think it's $2 a car or $1 per person on foot. City looks different from the river. Get a snowball, go hike around city park, Chalmette Battlefield Airboat Ride.

The Jean Lafitte National Park is a short drive away. They have a nice mini museum and a good hiking trail out through the swamps and stuff. Will most likely get to see snakes and gators up close.

Bring 'em on down to lower Decatur and stroll amongst the gutter punks. That's what tons of other parents seem to do these days.
