There used to be a midget named shorty who rode around on a 3 wheeled bike picking up cans. We'd give him 20 bucks and he'd get us a case of natty light from the gas station and keep the change.

I don’t have a home town but Mom’s has the only International boundary marker in the United States and it’s just a couple of miles from the house she grew up.
Grandad was squirrel hunting with the local guy credited with finding the marker when it was found as a matter of fact. The literal TX/LA state line as defined by treaty.

Thought so, Manchac Acres Rd. This was 2008 and it obviously was gone. I remembered it in the late 80s when I lived in Port Vincent for a couple of years. I remember it well.
