Cool. I am sure that would fly in court. That's like blaming rape victims for wearing sexy clothes, moron.

You comparing a neighbor who is complaining about a football hitting his already broke fence to a woman getting raped?

Is this even going to court? This is just some lawyer who but some bullshite on a letterhead hoping to scare the neighbor.

If I were the neighbor I would go over there and tell them since they are so concerned about their fence, I will give them a week to fix it because the dented area is actually on my property and if it isn't fixed in a week I will remove part of the fence that is on my property. Or they can just pretend they didn't send me some bullshite letter over a football hitting their fence.

And if my kids actually did some damage to their fence I would take responsibility for it..

quote:

It doesn't give anyone the right to damage it more. By that logic, if I see a car with a small dent in it then I can put more dents in it and that should be OK since there was one small dent already.

God...you are fricking stupid.

You right, but if you don't give a frick about something and it is already damaged, you do have less of an argument when someone accidentally does some more damage to it. Why make such a big deal about it if you don't even care about it?

If you have a car with a big noticeable dent and someone accidentally put another small dent in it I would question why they are making such a big deal out of it if its already damaged.

What I like is, the letter’s wrinkled. Like the football mom got so mad when she read it, she crushed it in her hands out of anger.

If I were that lawyer I wouldn’t mess with her

From his letter,

quote:

No different than, the hypothetical, I hit golf balls into your yard, hitting and damaging your car.

Yes, most reasonable see quite the difference here.

If you think these two children playing "unsupervised" in the yard is a problem and indicative of poor parenting, than obviously these same two children are both: (1) Too weak to cause any real damage, and (2) Too young to go to a park unsupervised to play around with the older kids.

I hope you, a grown man, are strong enough to hit a golf ball off of your lot, and have the means to make it unsupervised to a driving range.

Westlaw shows that he's handled family law cases. Other than that, I've never heard of this guy. But, we don't handle family law cases...thank God!!

Scales of justice. Classy.

If this is real he should be subject to disciplinary action for vexatious litigation threat. Rules of professional conduct still apply to assholes.

What’s the problem? Don’t damage your neighbor’s fence.
