The thing that always gets me about the Mask nutjobs is:
If you believe masks are effective to protect you against Covid...then wear a mask, no one is stopping you. IF they are effective, then what do you care if others don't?

Anyone who wants a vaccine is freely able to do so at this point. Anyone who is not vaccinated is likely not vaccinated by choice (minus people who can't get it due to risk of reaction).
What's the end game for these people? Wearing a mask forever? What arbitrary point are they waiting to reach where they will agree to no longer masking?
Not to count, it is not a "one and done" vaccine. In a year from now, we will have more unvaccinated people than we currently do unless all the young healthy people who got vaccinated continue to go out of their way to do so every year. Which I kinda doubt.

They won't. I have definitely come around to the "it's a religion for these people" argument. As annoying as I find most religions, as they take a back seat people still yearn for that meaning in their life, and it's shifted to politics.

The next goalpost is to adhere to “mask culture” (not my term - the New York Times wrote this). They’ll start gas lighting about vaccines not being available or known to people of color and that be the next reason why we still have to wear masks and social distance.
