I spend money like nobody's business (I need help!), and I have seen zero places not accepting cash.

Lsu baseball stadium takes only cards.

On the flip side, Florabama was cash only from Friday - the holiday weekend.

Most concessions at live events I’ve been to recently are cashless.

I’ve haven’t seen COD as an option for online purchases.

I wonder if OP pays his mortgage in cash?

A few bars here in Houston are cashless.

Honestly quite surprised this is new to some people.

I was in San Diego at a Hilton a few weeks ago. Traveling for business so I had just my carry on luggage and a backpack. I was early and room wasn’t ready. I left my 2 bags with the bellman. I asked if he had any change, because he isn’t getting $20 to carry two bags 30’. He said they were cashless. So, he didn’t get a tip. I would normally tip $5 each way.

Then you have the other businesses that charge you a fee if you use debit card. They pass the credit card fee on to the customer.

Who doesn’t take cash? I think they are legally obligated to accept it.

Plenty of places don’t. They coffee shop down my street doesn’t take cash. Using debit for $2.49 is stupid but they force you.

Every restaurant will take cash. Thread desperate?

This is not true…cashless restaurants are becoming more and more popular…it is actually becoming more expensive for restaurants to deal in cash than paying cc fees…and safety is a big factor as well…my restaurants does 3-4 million a year in sales and we never have a cash deposit over 1k a day…
