Lol… in the world? That’s like saying Jaxxsen’s travel ball team is most overrated sports team in the world.
Who even thinks about Asheville when they think about world cities?

disagree with your friends assessment of Paris. I found it super clean, only homeless I saw was around Eiffel Tower. I loved the city. Only negative was afew rude folks.
Agreed. For a big city I thought Paris was much cleaner and lacking homeless compared to big cities here.
I also absolutely loved Rome too.

Rome? Seriously? If you can’t appreciate Rome then something is definitely wrong with you.
Have you been?
Constant pick pocketers, constantly people trying to sell you shite even when you’re sitting out at dinner the same people will come by 2-3x trying to sell you the same thing.
The food is over rated in Rome specifically. It’s all plain bread and cheese which isn’t even good.
They care nothing for their history except for art. Art, art, art everywhere.
I’ve been to almost 20 different countries in the world and I can say that I wouldn’t care to ever go back to Rome.

I don’t always compare random cities, but when I do it’s Rome, Italy and Asheville, NC, USA

I thought Rome was great.
Asheville was OK I guess.

Nashville is more overhyped than Asheville

Takes a special kind of person to figure out how to have a bad time in Paris.

How was Rome not impressive? Their are multiple thousand plus year old buildings. Tons of art and architecture. Lots to do. A lot in the area. Easy to get around. I would say its far from overhyped.

Overhyped? What did you do while you were there and what were you expecting?

He's correct. I worked there last summer it's a third world stinky shithole.

Dude, Asheville is not anybody’s idea of a great city.
Nobody outside of the US has even heard of Asheville. And actually there might even be some people who have never heard of Asheville on an American message board that’s less Southern-centric.

That’s a real answer.
NYC actually is considered to be a world class city. But I found it to be so boring.

Dubai is number 1
My observation about Dubai is that it’s where soulless people go to spend money and take pictures to impress other soulless people.
It’s basically Las Vegas from “The Stand”.
