A GM's dream, a owner that doesn't think he knows baseball better than him.

Yes, I’m sure the billionaire career investor chose to invest billions of his own money in a product he hates

That’s probably why he doesn’t go to many of their games.

the owner in Little Big League named himself manager of the team.

Haha. I never actually saw that one, but know the general premise.

It kinda makes me sad when I make 90s references to people now a days who a grown ups and they give me a blank stare.

Baseball is boring

35 x 5 hours = 175 / 40 that's 4.3 work weeks sitting at a boring baseball game.

35 games is actually a lot.

1) 81 games a year is a lot. Wouldn't expect him/her to go to every one.
2) Billionaires tend to be kind of busy
3) It's fricking Baltimore

Really? I only really like to watch baseball live. On TV it's dull if you're not a big baseball fan. And that's me. I love going get a few beers, sitting in the stands and watching a game.

80 game season....roughly 40 home games and 40 away. You think he travels to every away game?

I'd say thats pretty good!

I am an Arsenal fan.

Our owners are the Kroenkes.

Stan Kroenke maybe goes to one game a year, if even that.

I don't think the owner of the Grizzlies has been to a single game in ten years.

Maybe he bought a partial season ticket like I used to. I went to other games, but didn't always like sitting in the same seat.

I'd honestly rather pay to sit at a ball game than get paid to be at work.

unfortunately, life costs money so I kinda have to go to work.

Even if you love to go to baseball games, 81 homes games would get to be a bit much.

And most of the games are at night and during the work week.

Granted, the owner is probably not driving himself home, but that makes for super late nights getting home.
