when I was young, single, and no kids I lived in a town with a AA minor league team, going to their games was the best entertainment in town and by far the most bang for your buck, I'd go to the games almost every night if they were in town and so was I

true, but the old park was on the edge of the combat zone in that town and you had to be careful leaving

MLB plays for about 26 weeks. That's more than one game per week. It's not like the guy lives at the ballpark. He has to commute to go to a game.
