This...

The Ryobi is not as powerful as a gas powered trimmer, but it is so much easier. You plug in the battery and go.
It does everything I need it to do.

re: Your weekly golf tv ratings report

averaged 1.631M viewers from 3:00-7:40

The was 2 PM to 6:40 PM local time.

1.5 hours of that was the rain delay when they showed the final round from 2024.

I am not sure how long the technical difficulties lasted.
It appears that CBS was not able to show any live golf before the rain delay, but when CBS was actually able to show live golf at 4:15 pm, the viewership was up.

It may have been better than the field for this week's Byron Nelson.

I just looked at the field for the Byron Nelson.
You do have Scottie Scheffler, but you also have several players ranked above 500 in the world golf rankings.

I think the Zurich Classic field was definitely better.

If your tournament is not a Major, The Players Championship or a Signature Event, you are going to struggle to get big names. It is just that simple.

Look at the rest of the schedule for May.

May 8-11 Signature Event. (Truist )
May 15-18 PGA Championship
May 22-25 Charles Schwab Regular tournament.
May 29- June 1 Signature Event (The Memorial)

The Charles Schwab is going to struggle to get anyone.

If you want to take down the grid, targeting the large transformers at plants and major substations would be the way to do it. We have temporaries and backups, but if you hit enough of them in one go it takes 18 months+ to go through the process of buying and installing them right now.

For large transformers, if there are no spares..... try 2-3 years to get a replacement manufactured.

But for emergencies, I am betting that you could pay enough to get to the front of the line for manufacturing.

He had just played 3 weeks in a row.
I guess he wanted to go home for a break..

Not that complicated,

I am not sure who's hair will be on fire. The average Alabama Fan was ready to see Milroe go pro.

His erratic play cost Alabama the Tenn and Oklahoma games last year. He is big and fast but seems to avoid contact. And yes when he has mistakes early, he can't seem to pick himself up.

Can he make it in the NFL? Yes, but it will take the right system that will let him learn before throwing him against NFL defenses.

Horschel is a Zurich Ambassador.
So is basically being paid by Zurich to come to the Tournament.

The withdrawal reason… lower body injury.

selling $50/day parking on Lapalco.

Those usually sell out Sponsor Parking anyway. Friday to Sunday is sold out for this year.

But I understand. The walk from were the new gate is located to the 18 green is approaching 3/4 mile.
Zurich has extended its sponsorship of its PGA tournament until 2030.

That is big for New Orleans

Zurich Extends Until 2030/
There is no parking at the Alario Center this year.
Public Parking has been moved to NOLA Motorsports and you will have to enter the gate near hole #3. There will be shuttle busses to get you to the entrance.

The claim is that the attendance was so big last year that they ran out of parking at the Alario Center.

It is a shorter walk from the new entrance to holes #13 and #17. But, if you stay for the end of a day at hole #18, it will be a long walk back to the gate at hole #3.

If you are filing as single, the 37% federal tax bracket starts at $626k. You don't pay 37% tax on every dollar earned.

The California 12.3% tax bracket starts at over $700k.

But he will pay a huge amount of taxes.

I think he was talking about Harbour Town. The RBC is being played there.

Cameron Champ is a 3 time winner on the PGA that has lost his card is playing on the Korn Ferry tour this year.

Last year on the PGA tour he was #1 in driving distance, but 181 in strokes gained on approach to the green. He missed the cut 18 times in 26 events.

He will be fun to watch off the tee. But his partner better be great on approach to the green.

There are 8 Signature Events for the PGA this year from January to June.

Each month has at least 1 signature event.
January and May have 2.

Hopefully the PGA will move the signature events around some, because if the tour wants to keep 1 Signature event in April. It makes sense to have it after the Master. You don't want it the week before the Masters.

So, if the Zurich Classic stays in April and 2 weeks after the Masters, it is going to suffer. It did much better before Harbor Town became a signature event.

If Zurich wants to extent their sponsorship, you can bet they are trying to get a better place on the schedule.

And yes, had Rory and Shane not won the Zurich last year, this years field would have been terrible. You know that Zurich is praying that Shane and Rory make the cut this year and are in contention on the weekend to keep ratings up.

That isn’t all of it. There are 80 teams. And several alternates.

Zurich Classic field.

This is the weakest field since the Zurich Classic went to teams.

The sponsors can not be happy.

proximity to the pins likely isn’t that hot either when he is on in regulation.

Speith is 91st in proximity to the hole with an average of 38'. 38' is also the tour average...

#1 in proximity to the hole is Colin Morika at 33' 1".

I really like Jordan but he is done. I don't think he will ever return to his best form. Could he get hot and win a tournament here or there? Absolutely.
But he just isn't consistent anymore and there are too many other young players who are better than him.

Speith is 14th in total driving. That is great.
55th in putting.... that is OK..
but 125th in greens in regulation..... terrible.

Jordan is 31. He has maybe 10-12 more legitimate chances to win the PGA Championship and complete the Grand Slam. It is not unheard of for players to win a major in their early 40s, but the chances really drop off after about the age of 44.

The Raising Cane's Open does have a nice ring to it.

The concessions would be lit!
