Maybe implement a skeet shooting program for the yutes.

I thought this was an excellent idea.

Naw. Last thing you want is for them to actually learn to aim. Half of the actual shootings where somebody gets hit is them shooting themselves on accident.

Then he said this. This is true.

Most would be happy if they only hit what they were shooting at. Seems like target practice is limited to only certain parts of the parish. I'll donate a few boxes of ammo for the cause.

Why not make riflery and marksmanship part of the curriculum?

While our team walked down 16th Street, we met Bradford Williams who says he’s lived here his entire life. “But the things that I’ve seen in the last 4 years is the decline of us not funding the programs that we need for the children to do activities. If you take away basketball, you take away football, you take away wrestling, you take away boxing. You have them shooting guns. What else do they have? The only other opportunity they have is shooting guns,” Bradford explained.

You see, the thing is, this isn't a retarded line of thinking to Bradford.

And, once you realize that, you realize how helpless the situation is.

My daughter's private tennis lesson was cancelled today.

She immediately knifed the girl next door.

Interviewing a ghetto dweller and expecting them to give economic and sociological reasons for their plight. It's the equivalent of asking some trailer trash redneck "what happened?" after a F5 attempts to take their mobile palace to the next solar system.

When I was a kid we’d go shooting. Dad would set up a target and let us shoot guns and learn about gun safety. Really racist to not allow minorities to have proper firearm training and safety

They’re aren’t any section 8 trailer parks. So at least these rednecks are paying taxes, and they aren’t deciding to drop out of school and then start causing tornadoes.

No one took these things away. There is not a single kid in Baton Rouge that wants to participate and cannot due to lack of programs.

When we were kids in the 50's and 60's, in the summer we spent all day at Metry Playground, usually playing baseball or watching other kids play baseball, it kept us busy for the first 2 months of summer. By late July we were on our own, mostly playing sports, but kids on their own tend to get in mischief, we sure did.

I can easily understand unsupervised kids, with the temptation of thugs, getting into bad shite. If community centers are managed it is great that they can be giving good choices, it is certainly worth the low cost.

Someone like this is unfit to survive in modern society without a lot of government help.
