Yeah but you're only on Earth once. Why not live it to the fullest and not be hampered down by unhealthy weight?

Seed oils are chemically processed and very inflammatory. They are cheap and profitable for the food industry.

Avoid canola, corn, cottonseed, grapeseed, soybean, sunflower, safflower, rice bran, and peanut oil.

The problem is you go out of your way to buy avocado or olive oil only to read stories that manufactures and retailers are lying to you and are cutting the products with seed oils.

When most of your processed foods are outlawed by 2nd world countries - We have a problem. Kennedy is doing great with getting shite done. Although I don’t like Big Mike she had a good idea about reducing sugar in free food at schools - problem was she went about it as a retard.

Our generation is done - between the cancer, obesity and high levels of MSG for decades brought on by processed foods. Corporate lobbyist aided by shitty politicians fueled ripping off consumers and killing an entire generation simultaneously.

Focus less on the result, and more on the cause.

Rise in fat folks correlates to rise in fast food / bad food

The guy that invented Fritos would not eat them.

The guy that invented Cheetoes did so with fake cheese material he bought from WW II army surplus.

Not hard to switch a 75% lean hamburger to 90%

Sweet tea, cola, and all sort of Beetus enhancing drinks out there

In America, the poor people are fat, and the rich people are skinny. And we somehow make sense of it.

What I coincidence- - - the older I get the more I respect people’s privacy and don’t stick my nose in their business or measure their life by my values.

A century ago, this was the reverse

Rich were fat and pale

Poor were skinny and dark

I don't hate too much on big guys, especially athletic big guys like lineman.

But anyone morbidly obese and dripping fat are disgusting imo.

Historically, fatness was associated with wealth. Still is in many cultures.

Poor were always skinny.

In some places, the dark skinned are fat and the lighter skinned people are cooking in the pot.

I have no idea what you were trying to say.

At age 69 I floated between 238-228# on a 5-9 frame. The product of international corporate exec travel, no time to exercise, too many corporate/client dinners, too much alcohol and a penchant for rich, buttery foods, sauces and fresh bread, pastries and desserts.

I had a personal epiphany. No health scare, no threats from the wife, no snide comments, just the thought of continuing to be fat when I was ignoring the obvious was simply me saying to myself, "It's okay, you're old. Everyone is fat at this age." Then one day, overnight, I changed. Now, at age 70, I weigh 176#, my guns are developing nicely, my pant size is reduced from 38" to 32"-33", I gave away yesterday over a $1000 in XL LSU shirts, sweats and pullovers plus a bunch of Tommy Bahamas shirts and shorts to someone because I'll never be able to wear them again. My diet is strict and revolves around lots of protein. I run 4-5 miles several days a week, use an incline treadmill at 10%, 12% and up to 15% inclines for 3-4 miles once a week, plus weights 3x a week.

It's not easy at this age, I assure you, and I understand why it's so difficult to get started. That's why I would never rub people's faces in the truth, which is, they're fat and likely shortening their life by staying fat. It takes a real inner change and determination and a willingness to actually change diet and commit to working out. That is difficult at any age.

I have undertaken the effort to get slim. I got down to 207. To get there and stay there, my diet can only exist of baked chicken breast, steamed vegetables, egg whites and plain baked potatoes, nothing else. If I eat anything else, I gain weight.

While I understand that eat less, move more and weight loss is a math problem and thermodynamics, sometimes a regular diet is enough to sustain 250 lbs for some folks.

I'm trying to drop weight again because I know its healthier. I eat two small oranges for breakfast. If I bring my lunch to work, it's typically a cup and a half of gumbo or some similar. If I don't, its a 6" subway sandwich. For dinner, its a small bowl of chicken and vegetables. If hunger gets the best of me, I eat a satsuma. Doing that EVERY day, nets me 1.5 lb loss a week. This includes doing crossfit 3x a week and walking at least a mile at lunch daily.

Some of us are just more efficient with a calorie than others. Upside, I'm going to outlive everyone in the apocalypse.
I could have written this myself 15 years ago, because I sincerely believed all of it applied to me too.

The reality for most people, as it was for me, is that we are terrible at eyeballing portions and estimating calories. What looks like a modest serving can be hundreds of calories off once oils, sauces, serving size, snacks, and little extras are actually counted.

Buy a food scale, get a calorie-tracking app, and use both consistently for a while. Eventually you may not need them, but if you want to know what you’re actually eating instead of what you think you’re eating, that’s where I’d start.

Eating unhealthy to the extent obesity evolves is much like smoking used to be in the past. Both have more than enough "education" easily available to everyone to know better now. What upsets me the most is just looking at their young....fat.....kids. Those kids have no chance.

Yeah, it would have to be those obese clueless losers from Maga that still think Trump is a tell it like it is great potus.

Besides being ugly and fat, any question of substance a reporter poses to them just gets a confused deer in the headlights look or some stupid answer that a four year old could debunk.

You sound like a guy who tries to frick obese, progressive white women with blue hair and a septum rings.

Have some dignity man.
