Too many times they should have ended it with a pit.

Did you even watch? He prevented 8 or 9 attempts and put multiple cops off the road due to their failed attempts

how was this pursuit not called off

The Arkansas State Police have a very aggressive policy for pursuits. On Youtube there are channels dedicated to just their pursuit videos.

Their view on it is that the person fleeing represents a menace to society, and they will do everything they can to end the pursuit as fast as possible. There are videos of them pitting at 130 mph.

Here are a couple of channels.

One officer in particular, Jacob Byrd, is somewhat famous for his pursuits. The Trooper Byrd grew up racing cars on the track; he's a pretty good driver.

I'm fine with just shooting that MF in the head and calling it a day. No value to society and should have been charged with attempted murder for every car he passed on the road.

Seems like we aren't far off from not needing police chases anymore with drone technology. Send one or two up and just follow them until they stop. While fun for cops I'm sure, they are expensive and put lives at risk.

She gave the police a fake name to help him escape, how is that not conspiring, or obstructing police efforts?

I loved the moment one of them just drove their cruiser into the ditch full of water. WTF did they think was going to happen in a Charger?

Then later on you get to hear this gem on the radio: "I don't know anything, all I know is I am stuck in a ditch."

Somewhere on Roku, you can find "Chase" with 24//7 chases. Mostly in Los Angeles.

She probably agreed to testify against him on issues that enhanced his prison time.

What was the final count on blocked pits

And how many time did the cops try the pit maneuver in an unsafe area with innocent people?

I want to know who made that trailer that cat was pulling behind the F350. That freaking trailer held up well to abuse.

What I learned from this, is there's as much danger for the cop, trying to pit a loaded trailer as it is for the perp.

I didn’t read the story, but saw she didn’t know him well. He very well could have given her that fake name. I’m unsure if she was intending to lie or cover for him at that point. I think she was cooperating.

This could be true as well.

I look forward to watching this later.

This is one the craziest chases I’ve ever seen. It’s even longer, but absolutely wild.

The move to get rid of the trailer was straight class.
