Same. I know a Haoli on island and he's been through FEMA disaster scenarios previously. No love for the current govt. but he hasn't said he thinks there is any deep state takeover of Lahaina/Maui. He points mostly to incompetence of local and fed. govt. levels and the novelty of the fire itself.
