The Maui fires Conspiracy Theories are Lit - The Government is now TAKING people's land

The government there is now forcefully removing people from Lahaina and pushing them to live on the big islands while taking their land and pushing to use it for "other purposes"
This is coming from the actual people of the island who are speaking in front of committees, they are then being silenced.
Kinda makes me wonder if the conspiracy theories were once again just spoiler alerts.
Meanwhile, Oprah is begging poor people to send money to help rebuild the island.

Idk. I’ve got a buddy in Lahaina that usually is a borderline conspiracy theorist himself and is outspoken on the government in general.
He says there aren’t any missing kids/people anymore and hasn’t mentioned anything conspiracy wise.

Government takeover, then they'll do away with the non-resident tax. High rise condos are on the way.

If what you state is true, then the government failed to pass the legislation to prohibit it or left loopholes the size of Texas in there to get around. Just enough to say they did something.
I wouldn't be surprised if the same people complaining about taking native American land are the same ones ready to evict the locals.
