Backpacks tend to give more flexibility in organization as well as an option to be carried around hands free

I have a tactical back pack.

Mostly because i want people to realize that every business or social gathering, i always make a plan to kill everyone in the room if shite goes sideways.

Only people that don't understand that not everyone wants to live in a trailer and finance a truck at $900 a month. If you want to live that way fine, but not doing that doesn't make you not tough or "a fig"

I gave up a briefcase years ago. Backpack with my laptop and other work tools is way easier to carry and travel with.

Where have you been the last 10 years? I guess not working in the corporate world.

Engineer and I have a back pack for my laptop and some test equipment I keep with me to take to the dams.

Moms seem to be getting into it a bit too, I see a lot of them carrying Kavu slings.

Backpacks free your hands up to take the stairs and use the handrails/protect from falls/not be a fatty. You hate safety and health?

I don't, and I don't need any of that stuff. Hell, I don't even need a phone. The backpack thing seems so odd to me.

I used to use on all the time when I would ride my motorcycle in to work (before I had saddlebags).

Maybe not fairies, but still odd. Ever been to Portland? I almost bought one just to have on my back empty to fit it.

Brief case or saddle bag.

It's really not odd at all. 20 years ago you carried a legal pad and pens and files. Now you carry a laptop, charger, extra battery, cables, files, etc. A briefcase isn't really the best medium to carry all that shite
