I don't think gender should be a factor at all. You should have a set of standards and if a person passes the requirements they should be certified.

I'll be damned if I'm trusting my life to a woman, they are the most illogical and non reasoning species on this planet. Plus, they have a 1/3 of the size of a mans brain, it's science.

You should be made aware of two things:
1) Army officials have stated these two will not be assigned to Ranger combat units. Plenty of men don't either, so there's precedent.
2) Women have served as door gunners on choppers, top gunners on Hummers, etc. Somehow their units survived.

The problem is a lack of a current sense of imminent peril. You'd never see a country like Israel doing this kind of crap because their very existence depends on the strength and unit cohesion of their fighting MEN.

Goddamnit, not this shite again.
There are very, very good reasons that women should not be in combat units. I'll start with addressing your second point: riding as a door gunner on a bird or serving as a gunner on a logistics convoy is still, even in 2015, night and day different than serving in a front-line infantry platoon. They are nowhere near the same thing in physicality, mission set, living conditions, or (probably the most important) the stresses put on a unit's cohesion and morale.
Start by reading this piece from a female Captain in the USMC.
Congrats to these two women. They have earned a hell of an honor.
