Because it's so easy to do that in your air conditioned corporate office space with cubicles in between and you get to go home every night to your wife's vagina that you have easy access to.

Meanwhile, men and women not in a relationship are in the shittiest part of the world and actually live like they're in a complete shithole with limited supplies, no air conditioning, can't leave unless they get an appendage blown off and are going months without a sexual conquest while there are other members of the opposite sex present that you spend every day with and you're legally forbidden from fricking them.

Take a look sometime at what the pregnancy rates are in the Navy and how often women have to leave ships. Take a look at the pregnancy rates for women in non-combat Army and USMC units.

Or shite, talk to anyone at all who has ever been in a mixed unit overseas about the BS relationship drama, the love triangles, and the sex. These people are largely operating in physical and emotional circumstances that are not all that different from everyday American life.

Now multiply all that a hundredfold with extraordinary stress in circumstances of which you can barely conceive.

You tell me what's going to happen. How do you respond when you lose a team of four dudes because a squad leader has been fricking one of his team leaders and decides to send the other team leader to take a house? How does it work when your medic starts treating the wounded women without even doing proper triage of casualties first because he has a crush on her? Or better yet (one that I actually witnessed) how does it work when a female bomb disposal soldier is asking your machine gunner to frick her later that evening as they are approaching a loaded, timed homemade mortar launcher that only has a few minutes left before it sets off?
