As someone who served; if anyone tried to heckle these women, they would have been crushed with disciplinary and legal action.

Nobody is more protected in the military, than women. Anyone who says otherwise is a fricking idiot.

The truth is, women can't cut it. That is why they constantly have to adjust PT standards, and requirements to get more women through. Whether by giving women their own lower standard, or by reducing the standard for both to facilitate more women qualifying.

The interesting thing in this thread is that all the people who served are saying the exact same shite. It's the civvies who never served that are singing the egalitarian Kumbaya.

If a girl wants to see combat, she has to join the all woman combat battalion.

I had a buddy who did his mandatory in Israel. That's what he told me, at least. Women are not allowed to see combat in mixed battalions. If that is incorrect, then he told me wrong.

People don't understand why women can't be in front line positions. Stressful combat situations. Women's thought processes revolve around emotions. They're emotional beings...it is part of their nature. Anyone who honestly thinks that a woman would be able to knowingly send a squad of young kids into a firefight that she knew most wouldn't come out of is foolish. On the other hand, men are objective thinkers. We attain results. When tasked with something, those of us with a pair get it done, regardless of how we have to do it. That's the kind of people you need up front and in these elite groups.

If they're able to completely separate themselves from their emotions, then more power to them. But I don't see them being able to deny their own genetics.

They can walk around with their ranger tab but they will never wear the scroll. They won't belong to battalion.

I didn't say they should or should not be.

I merely noted they already are in combat units, and that whether women get their Ranger tabs or not doesn't change this fact. But somehow, the Army has not collapsed yet.

Both men and women are sexual beings.

It is rational to assume that sec can override reason in even the MOST rational human being.
