So, he sees a cop and then runs to the back of the house.
It doesn't state that the cop had lights/sirens on and/or was telling the kid to stop, right?

So the cop thinks the kid was going around back to hide...maybe he was. And maybe he was just going into the house via the backyard like he always does, we don't know.

How about telling your scumbag kid to not act suspiciously around cops
You assume he did, we don't truly know if he did or not

quote:

do not run into the backyard of a home while you know a cop is looking at your OBVIOUSLY SUSPICIOUS behavior
If that's the route he always takes to go in the house, why would he not do that if the cop was not telling him to stop?

Cops live in this world every f*cking day.

And, that's whose actions the rest of you are trying to judge.

If a cop sees someone dressed head-to-toe in all black, wearing a hoodie in the summer, and then, UPON SEEING THE COP, ducks into someone's backyard, THE COP HAS A F*CKING DUTY to go into that backyard to investigate.

THAT'S HIS F*CKING JOB.

And, when he's confronted by this POTENTIAL felon, and he tells him "F*CK YOU" and refuse to put down his phone and simply follow a MORE THAN F*CKING REASONABLE command, then YES, the little punk deserves to be tazed and the cop has every right to defuse the situation and protect himself.

it is sort of curious that the kid goes to the back door instead of the front, guess he wants to be her back door man?

Dude, its 95 degrees outside. Someone wearing black pants and a black hoodie running around a neighborhood is probable cause.

No it isn't. It's not a crime to wear black clothing and he wasn't running.

It is hilarious that you think use of force is diffusing the situation. What was he protecting himself from? shite, am I threat to cops by typing this post? He doesn’t know what I’m doing with this deadly cell phone weapon. I could be calling in antifa to kill him after luring him into my trap with my black clothes.

I tend to side with the cops in a lot of these situations but this is a ridiculous thing to say

There is a Florida statute that says you can detain someone under loitering and prowling to determine if their reason to be there is lawful.

A day after the original arrest, FHP added a loitering and prowling charge and updated that original narrative.

Yikes.

kids have always sacrificed comfort in the quest to look "cool," my kids grew up in FL and they always tried to wear that hoodie crap, even in the middle of the summer, why white baws strive to look ghetto is beyond me, why would anyone aspire to look like scumbags?

Like I said above, I really hope one day some 6' "kid" sees a cop patrolling your neighborhood and then ducks into your backyard and then the cop does absof*ckinglutlely NOTHING. And, if your wife and daughter just happened to get raped and murdered by this "poor innocent kid who was just texting" on private property that he may or may not have had permission to be on (the cop has no f*cking way of knowing), I want you to come back here and tell us all that you are completely satisfied that the cop acted appropriately because, AS FAR AS THE COP KNOWS, the "kid" had every right to act suspiciously, dress like your standard/typical home invader, and duck into your backyard when he saw the cop patrolling your neighborhood.

It must suck to go through life terrified of what ifs and wishing that shite on other people. This kid didn't commit a crime and had permission to be on the property. None of your little rape and murder fantasies mean dick.

How in the f*ck do you know that? And, more importantly, how in the f*ck was the cop suppose to know that?

Because it’s on video and plain as day.

You just can't be THIS F*CKING STUPID.

The cop is suppose to just take the word of some thug-looking character who ducked into someone's backyard upon seeing him and then told him "frick YOU" when told to simply put his hands behind his back.

And, according to you, the video is plain as day and somehow PROVES that the kid's explanation was "plausible"?

If he was an armed home invader, are you really SO F*CKING STUPID that you believe the kid would have told the cop, "I'm here to rob this house and murder and rape anyone inside!"? But, since he didn't admit to this, his explanation suddenly become plausible to the cop he just told to F*CK OFF and whose MORE THAN REASONABLE commands he's refusing to obey?

Seriously, NO ONE could possibly be THIS F*CKING STUPID.

He was tased, Jesus. He got a little boo boo on his noggin. He ought not be hiding in bushes and ignoring requests. Or he could hide in bushes and then talk to the policeman like a normal human being.

A police officer can require you to prove you live where you say you live. Failure can result in arrest. Failure to comply with the arrest can result in bodily injury.

LEO'S have consistently lost when they escalate force in arrests of people who have the legal right to be on private property.

If anyone fails to identify himself to a police officer after he asks for ID, he can be arrested. Failure to comply with the arrest can result in bodily injury.

This kid wasn't just standing on a street corner whistling Dixie when a cop just happened to come upon him and taze him for no reason.

But, this is the f*cking FANTASY you cop-hating f*cking morons have built up in you demented and deluded minds.

Studies have shown that not listening to officer commands while arguing that you didn't do anything wrong always tilts the encounter in your favor. Considering temperatures have been in the 90s, his dress attire would be suspicious save for the face that black people dress like that even if it is 100 degrees outside for some reason.
