I’m not reading this entire thread but what’s the lie in his report?
The report says that the officer couldn’t see the kids hands and that he thought he could have a weapon.
His hands are clearly visible during their entire confrontation.

It's irrelevant. Cops don't get to detain or identify people (in most states) because they look suspicious without any inclination of a crime being committed.
You don't get to detain suspicious people and then look for a crime.

I’m guessing most of today’s judges would side with the police on this instance meeting the requirements for a terry stop.
Cop is liar, we know that. The kid probably cut through the side yard to go to the back yard when the cop saw him—bad timing and cop says the kid saw him and ran, because he has racial biases and assumed the black kid up to no good.

I'm not so sure because

Once the video disproves the report, any aspect of the report is suspect. Him "darting through the bushes" was very likely not that considering he was going to his destination.

It is cool if people just refuse to comply as long as they are not acting aggressive? So as long as I don't appear threatening I can ignore anything cops say to me?
Yes, you can. You have every right to resist unlawful arrest, including using deadly force. Bootlickers don’t even know their rights. It’s no wonder our freedoms continue to erode.

Im sure this house has other cameras, probably even one on the side of the house.
Im interested to see what it shows.

"Stop resisting"
The cops get out of jail free card. "But he was resisting!"

Yes, the cop does. Some of you people are fricking insane in your ignorance. We live in a society where police keep the order and are legally empowered to do so. Jesus.
I think you have America confused with Nazi Germany.

Nah. I steer clear of cops in my everyday life. It's pretty easy to do by following laws and not putting myself in sketchy situations.
Well lucky for you a cop never followed you to the backdoor of your friend’s home and tased you. Just bc it hasn’t happened to you doesn’t mean it can’t happen to you or someone you love in the future. I’ll never understand why people try to justify the unjustifiable.

You may want to check out this Indiana statute that 100% legalizes using deadly force vs law enforcement, in certain situations

Yes. When cops kick in your door at 2am and it's the wrong house, you're protected.
When you're standing on your phone and the cop wrongly asks you to id, no.

But you can after they bogusly decide to use deadly force against you

that is ultimately where this situation ended up, right?

Found some clarification on the 21-day stay in juvie:
"Jack Rodeman is currently in a detention center, being held for 21 days. He was on probation for a previous, unrelated incident in which he and a friend took a golf cart from a nearby golf course for a joy ride. Because he was on probation, the current arrest resulted in the 21-day detention, his lawyer confirmed."

This is like in South Park when those two hillbillies want to perforate some poor protected animal, so they shout "he's comin' right at us!" and unleash a hail of shrapnel on it.

It's pretty easy to understand once you consider the typical ethnicity in these cases.
