Cars.
Especially the AC.
Just flip this and turn that, in 1.5 seconds you can go from full blast heat to full blast cold without even looking.

I miss not having a device/phone on me where anyone can reach me at any time.

I miss the days of telling people you are going on vacation and it meaning there was no way to contact you unless someone knew the number to your hotel/condo.
I also miss the days of people having patience when it came to ordering items. Seems like more and more people want things immediately and they want things dirt cheap bc they saw it advertised across the world for a few bucks less.

I miss, like hell, when phone calls came from real people who wanted to talk to me.
I still talk on the phone all the time to friends and family.

The world was a better place when the guy at Whataburger wrote your order on the bag and gave it to the cook rather than trying to find buttons on the register. Your order was correct a much higher percentage of the time too.

What? no fricking way.
I absolutely miss being a kid and going to Blockbuster to rent a movie and video game for the weekend. But that doesn't mean I want to ever go back to that process vs clicking a button nowadays and having the same thing.

Do you think women used to burn candles in unattended rooms?
I bet when electricity became mainstream, old school baws missed the days of candlelight so they didn’t have to chase their women around room to room turning the shite off

Not really technology related but I miss when we didn't have so many choices for everything.
Like when you could walk into McDonald's or a coffee shop and black coffee would actually be listed on the menu? Miss that too

What I was coming to post. There is literally nothing good about it for an independent physician in private practice. Incredibly inefficient and mostly useless.

Actually going out and meeting women in the flesh as opposed to online

I actually prefer the layout from the phone book on certain things like local contractors instead of being limited to whatever an internet search provides.
