Technology advances where you actually miss the “old” way

What are some technology advances that have made something more convenient and easier, yet you still miss the old way it was done.
I was just thinking about how I miss going to Blockbuster and picking out a movie on a weekend night even though I have the ability to rent whatever I want without leaving home at any time of day.
Made me wonder if there are other similar advances in technology for others?

I miss, like hell, when phone calls came from real people who wanted to talk to me.
Robocalls and all the advertising rubbish have ruined the sound of a phone ringing, much less the fun of talking to someone I liked.

Land lines and memorizing everyone’s phone numbers.

I miss really having to use your imagination while jerking off.

loved pulling out a playboy magazine from under my bed... there no thrill in just clearing your browser history anymore

Old cell/car phones without "contacts" you had all your numbers memorized and could dial the phone just by touch without looking at it. When you got home you used the landline and all your numbers were right there in your "mental cloud".

Instagram not being in chronological order anymore is what I miss most

Not really technology related but I miss when we didn't have so many choices for everything.

There is an incognito tab.clearing browser history is old. Incognito stores no info

I used to keep a card that was the same size as a business card in my wallet with friends and "acquaintances" numbers on it, sometimes with alias names, ya know. I ran across one of them a few weeks ago. Wouldn't mind slipping back to those days for a little while.

I have officially acknowledged that I am old. The epiphany came to me when I realized I enjoy older games over the new ones because they were less complicated.

If you want a thrill, don't clear your browser history and see what happens.
