I actually like the hire. Not sure where you’re getting that. I also like the Sumrall hire. I, for one, think these guys should go where they want to. They owe no loyalty, these coaches are always a couple losses away from the chopping block (as slob Elko) will soon find out.

I realize it’s early, but Sam is missing open receivers and bailing in the pocket way too soon. I think it’s a fine line these days on when coaches make changes because of the investment.

I’m not for benching Sam, but I think putting in Clark (think Mickie Guidry) for a couple of series to let Sam watch and settle down would have helped in the 1st half.

Not so sure they would have tried it. I think he gambled we’d jump, and our DL gladly complied…..twice. Trying that conversion without the penalty would have been insane.

He also has WR’s (rookies) and a TE (Fant ran a wrong route) to deal with. If this was his first pre season game, we’d understand. Just going to have to power thru it and hope the Defense bails him out.
