Parents took me to see Patton. Next day I said my first cuss word tying my shoe to go to school. I was about six.

Not sure, but it was either The Longest Day or The Pink Panther. Maybe Ben Hur.

Guys like us have trouble remembering that far back.

I remember my folks taking us to see Spartacus at the drive-in in Alexandria, no telling what year that was. I remember a Saturday matinee in Alexandria at the Paramount or Don Theater as a child, Robinson Carusoe on Mars. Seems like if you brought bottle caps from a certain softdrink you got in for 50 cents. Either RC or Pepsi I think.

I don't know if it's the first I saw, but the first that I remember seeing is Herbie the Lovebug.

Dad claims he took us to see Empire Strikes Back. I have no recollection of this but I'm sure we did.

The first movie I remember seeing was back in 81', Mom tried to take us to see Raiders of the Lost Ark at the Bon Marche Cinema 8. It was sold out all showings, so we had to see Soggy Bottom, USA.

I don't remember a ton about the movie except that there was a dog that farted when you said her name. Quality entertainment.

Not positive, but it was likely a double feature of Song of the South at that drive in that used to be on Vets.

IIRC, if was right at the Metry/Kennah (brah) line.
