I would say that the fact they even gambled with this lawsuit is a sign of concern.
Was there a legit concern with Wicker's taxes or was this just politicians being creative and trying to hurt someone's image.. thinking that even though they know the lawsuit wouldn't amount to anything, it will still be in the media and people would associate her with trying to avoid paying taxes?
Politicians are some dirty mother frickers. Well, its usually their campaign team who comes up with all of these "tricks"... But when it comes down to it, anything goes.

Did I read that dissenting opinion right? NOLA mayor Cantrelle also had missing LDR tax filings, but in her candidacy challenge, the courts believed her when she said she had filed them? But Wicker got disqualified.

Watson stands a 0.0% chance of beating Broome. Wicker was pretty much the only way to get Broome out of office, but I don't think Wicker would be any more effective than Broome.

How do you feel about people who avoid paying their debts by filing for bankruptcy 5 times?
And on a few of those bankruptcies it left contractors high and dry.
I am being 100% serious when I ask this. Do you not consider this being as bad as not paying taxes?
Also, I am not an accountant and never had this issue so I have no idea how it works, but if she didn't file in 2016, when she filed in 2017, would it not be caught that she didn't file in 2016?

Wicker may or may not be more effective than SWB.
But SWB has poisoned everything to the point where she won’t be able to to make both sides come together on anything.
Re-electing SWB means four more years of the mayor-President attacking the people of the parish because it would hurt one city’s bottom line.
