Not a chance. The people that can be swung (young professionals) aren't going to resonate at all with someone running with "conservative" or "traditional family values" as their platform. They can be pulled away quite easily from SWB with a bit of Kip's old strategies though (entertainment district development).
The people you needed to pull the "republican turnout" ploy already live in Ascension and Livingston.

Bodi White was a horrible bump on a log candidate and he lost by only 4,000 votes. Anyone with a pulse has a shot of beating SWB. In 2020 there won’t be a US Senate runoff on the same day as the EBR Mayor runoff like there was in 2016 so that may keep black turnout down a little and hurt the Dems.

This, plus, everything Broome was pitched as being in 2016 has been revealed to be a fraud. She has a less than 25% chance of being re-elected. That’s why she’s trying to disqualify her competitors and snipe at their voting bases with splitter candidates like Marcelle and Piazza

That seems like some bullshite if you ask me, Broome's cronies are doing work.
Any enterprising attorney's want to dig a bit deeper into LaFleur's business dealings with Broome; and verify that everything is complete 100% above board.

Not a lawyer but this seems like a clear case where Wicker could get a stay claiming irreparable harm and that she likely wins on appeal.
Irreparable harm is clear in this case.
Likelihood she wins on appeal is opinion but I think she has a good shot given how fricked up LDR’s return processing is.

Easy answer - A worker at the department committed a UNAX violation to leak the information to her.

Agreed. If Wicker filed returns in ‘16 and ‘18, you’d be able to prove that. You’d have copies...you’d have a bank statement with a check or direct deposit for a refund. You’d have your tax preparer come testify.
The fact that she couldn’t produce any of this is sketchy. I’m not a Broome supporter at all, but I also don’t support people that don’t actually pay their taxes in charge of tax money...
