Pretty sure we will be seeing a ton of political ads targeting Letlow in the next week.

Don't blame me. I use zero Meta products.

Fleming made a strategic error latching on to carbon capture as his signature issue instead of data centers. I bet he's kicking himself

Letlow should be investigated

She openly brag about all the taxpayer-funded vacations that she goes on.

Maybe you Louisianans will actually pay attention in your PSC elections now?

Well people are dumb if you don't think you will pay for power infrastructure.
If they wanted to bring nuclear, you will pay for the infrastructure to outfit the grid for that.
The other solution is just to never update the grid if you don't want to pay for it.
Plenty of AI campuses are using their own micro grids

There isn’t a single facet of our political bodies that aren’t corrupt. It doesnt matter who gets elected because they’ll just get corrupted too.
And no, I don’t have a solution. It’s sickening.

Want another kick in the dick? Most of the people building that site will bring their earnings back to their homes in a different state.
I know I'll enjoy making a solid bump over the payscale of the guys that have worked in that area their whole lives.

I don't know man. I've heard voters list reasons why they voted for certain people. I think it's kind of self inflicted. But at least you guys have crawfish and football, amirite?

Whichever public officials approved these projects should be investigated. As if our energy bills aren’t high already, we have to help foot the bill for some of the most valuable companies in all of history. Get the bums out of office
We will never know who acted on this because all the crooks signed NDAs

Everybody got an opinion on this, but they can’t be bothered to even read this article, much less do any actual research on the subject
Part of the problem is that regulated industry doesn’t follow pure economics.
If Meta uses 90 percent of this new power, if the extra 10 percent is used and not shut down, then the extra supply should lower prices.
But entergy works off of a cost plus model.

The problem is the combo of NDAs and government supported monopoly

Zuck,
Richland Parish is just a name. It does not describe the citizenry.
Thanks.

No, Entergy does not have anywhere close to the lowest rates in the nation. They are actually some of the absolute highest in the nation. Where are you getting your information?

That’s not a surprise to the customers that paid for the River Bend nuclear plant to be built.
