if there were 8.7 million new cases in just 3 weeks during march, then the US had probably hit 15-20 million cases by end of march and totals by now are easily going to be 40-60 million.

All antibody studies are showing 12-20% rate of antibodies. Which equates to 40-60 million cases.
This isn't even news anymore. The virus was always less deadly than they told us. And it's getting weaker. Even as more people have it, fewer are dying.

Regardless of your thoughts on the shutdowns, masks, ect, that's a pretty crazy infection rate thankfully this thing doesn't have a super high mortality rate

Aren't these test somewhere in the neighborhood of 90% accuracy? I think there's been way more infected than reported, but 90% accuracy is really low.
I think we still have no idea how many have been infected, though certainly many times the confirmed number.

There are at least 3 I think that are around 99% for accuracy and specificity to covid-19. Not sure about other states, but Texas has 2 of those tests basically just growing on trees at Remedy/quest diagnostics.

And yeah - it's clearly much less serious than what the "experts" told us. We never came close to running out of capacity in my area for hospitalizations.
