I fully believe that we will all touch this before any reliable tested vaccine is mass produced. So yeah, I believe that sooner or later I will get it. It isn't just going to go away.
We will get it even with a vaccine

I have received the flu vaccine every year

Still got the flu twice. You are eventually going to get covid-19

The problem is they can't differentiate between covid-19 and other strains from what I understand

IF they are 99% specificity, they do a damn good job of differentiating.

I managed to make it to 42 without getting the flu but got it this year. I've had the flu shot for probably the past 20 years.

Most people getting antibody screened had an illness they suspect was COVID or was in close proximity with someone who had COVID. That isn't a random sampling. It is not that high unfortunately.
This is a lie

We have tested 28,000 people for antibodies at my hospital system. 42% of people that tested positive for antibodies responded saying they had no memory of being ill

The reason you would not do this is because you've been lied to about how dangerous this is and you are so scared that you can't even fathom it.

100 - 42 = 58

58 is more than 42 and most of the people you tested fell into that category. Mathematically, I am correct. That is literally most.

And I also said "or had been in contact with someone else that had COVID" which you left out.

This is a huge concern. I can't believe chicken littles like DaleBrown can understand that you can either open things up now and let the virus run it's course or you can wait three months. It's not going to make a damn difference.

While true, if the number of asymptomatic people is as high as some have said, this won't matter.

Correct. We aren't getting a vaccine anytime soon and it might not even be extremely effective.

We need to open it up, isolate the old people and immuno-compromised, and let the thing run it's course.

I read the study... 90 percent of the research cited is by China. They also didn't account for other sicknesses. It was only flu and Covid. They didn't take into account sinus infections and other cold like viruses.

I don't believe a damn thing that comes from Penn State pedos.

I would want it to run through me, and for me to give it to my kids instead of it coming from some stronger strain, esp a weak arse pussy like you.

All antibody studies are showing 12-20% rate of antibodies. Which equates to 40-60 million cases.

Can you please provide a source for this? I haven't seen anything showing >5% (in the US, at least).

I know a lot of you hate Fauci, but he said today that he's confident in a vaccine by the end of this year or beginning of next. Who the frick actually knows?

Definitely not the head of the marketing department that put out that article.

Penn State must have a lot of debt and declining enrollment.

That strikes me as an attempt to keep the American public’s sentiment pro-social distancing. There’s no way he can know with confidence how a vaccine will do in clinical trials.

However, if he says “I don’t know when we’ll have a vaccine,” even Americans who are still pro-Fauci will start to bail on this stuff.

By the end of March it was 14% of everyone in the state of New York! That was essentially three months ago. And before the shutdowns went into effect. So NY should be approaching herd immunity of 50% or more by now. Which is why you see new infections dropping so much there.
