We have an inverter for our electric lawnmower (Greenworks) battery. You can charge a phone on it and power your wifi for 12+ hours. It works great and I'm very glad we have it. It doesn't work well for things that have a large power draw, bit for small items it's a great supplement.

Has anyone here ever watched the Force 13 group on YouTube cover storms? I found them a few years ago in a rabbit hole.
They're just a group of people all over the world who sit around and track hurricanes and typhoons. They livestream their coverage.

I’m emotional. I envisioned my crew crawling out of a demolished structure. My crew consists of a 68 year old seriously sick COVID patient who’s a new widow , an 80 year old newly minted widow and an emotionally wracked old spouse. Yes, I’m grateful.
But I’m also feeling so bad for those who got so ravaged by IDA.
