Eastern SG would be worse than SG below Highland and close to the River

I thought he had an armored car but he doesn’t.

Turns out that drives a fairly late model crossover (Subaru Forester or Chevy Equinox) that looks like it’s seen every Tornado in existence in the past 5 years. Not kidding when I say that it looks like it’s been dropped off a cliff and hit every branch on the way down. Surprised it runs at all.

That piece of shite is what he’s relying on in a Cat 4 hurricane.

Earlier there was a tree in the road so he drove through a grassy lot. Seemed kind of risky considering how saturated the ground must be. I assumed he was in a big arse 4x4.

Alright mister “I’m an amateur with a meteorology degree” You were talking shite to me.

It doesn’t shock me to see you and everyone else’s pivot to “it was a lucky guess”

Any of y’all ever stood on the downwind side of your truck to take a piss while the eye wall of a hurricane was passing. I just did. Three beers worth.

It’s blowing.

You turnt around and tried to catch some blowing back in your mouth huh? Maybe that's just me.

So a Baton Rouge-New Orleans 7-10 split? Sucks for the people in the path, but this thing is going to take about the least-populated path through southern Louisiana. From Terrebonne Bay to Lake Maurepas/Manchac the core of the storm is missing a lot of the larger population centers.

I’m shocked we still have it off Swamp Rd. Ours regularly goes out when it’s sunny and still.
