If that track of the hrrr holds I will definitely see the eye of this storm. After riding out many storms in my 54 years I had never been in the eye. Now I’m going to be in two of them in about 10 months lol

How is HRRR for intensity forecasting because that isn't that bad, from a purely wind driven perspective.

We have a hurricane version of the HRRR. It's called the HWRF.

What you do really want to pay attention to is the rainfall it's showing. We haven't talked much about the flooding threat inland, but it is significant.
