Just please take video this time.

Well actually, please GTFO and go somewhere safe. If you don't do the smart thing, videos from somewhere kind of safe for my amusement please.

It's going to be back closer to Houma similar to the 4 AM advisory.

TVCN shifted barely east of the current NHC track. They may not alter the track though. Whether that results in east of BR is anyone's guess.

Well, if you look at the 00z runs, the OFCI, which is the NHC track, it shifted east quite a bit. Also brought intensity down to a cat 3. No matter where it goes, it’s gonna suck. Just grateful, and hoping that model run that has intensity down, is gonna hold.

ETA, not that Far East on landfall, but throughout. It takes it east of BR.

This is why the people who don’t live in flood prone areas evacuate. It’s not because of the storm but the sweating your arse off for weeks.

Yeah buddy. Been there, done that. Freezer full of meat is the only thing holding me back at the moment lol

NHC has been pretty locked and honed in with Ida moreso than any other hurricane I can think of in recent memory.

We're talking Cat 4 vs Cat 2 here.

It's gonna be worse

That’s was my experience too. I got on the road immediately afterwards and was shocked at the damage. Trees were snapped in half all over town. This one looks like it’s setting up to be a bad one.

My prayers are with all of you now.

It is a fairly straight forward setup with simple steering mechanisms. Not like last year when they had some really complicated storms.

I’ve finally realized that Mike Cooper looks like Lenny Leonard. Both drunks but only Mike is completely useless.

What I remember about Laura is trees twisted apart.

Remember that picture circulating in Moss Bluff of a pine tree that was corkscrewed? Those sustained winds are not to be taken lightly

I’m in Georgia, but my thoughts are with all of you in the path of this.
Doesn’t mean much at all I know, but y’all have been through some shite as far as precip and wx the last 12-24 months.
Be smart, be safe and be well.

If that Euro run were to be correct, Houma/Thib, Morgan City, and BR would be in serious trouble.

Assumption Parish was fricked on that run too.
