Y'all should have just split one of those whopper stuffed potatoes four ways.

Did you not think attacking affordable energy would have downstream effect?

Did you not think inflating minimum wage would have downstream effect?

If I leave the house for non fast food, I just assume its $100. If its less, cool.

Wife no pics and two little kids at Five Guys the other day was $40. And the stupid tipping thing when all they do is throw your food in a bag. You get your own drink from a computer and run your own credit card. Boys didn't even have drinks and split a grilled cheese. We just had one large fry amongst us. Forty. Dollars. And I was still hungry (I'm 6' 170).

Took a co worker to Pluckers for lunch a couple weeks ago. Two ‘lunch specials’ and water. After tip is was pushing close to $50.

I remember going out to lunch all the time a few years ago for $10-12.

I felt like I got off east last night at Panera instead of going to the fancy taco place. $49 for 3 instead of likely $75.

Of course my wife just spent $170 on Easter chocolate so it was short lived.

No way we aren’t headed off massive financial cliff.

I agree. I don't see how an average income family is making it right now with real estate, vehicles, food etc.

I also experienced this last week in my area. I ordered a Potato for supper to go….no trimmings and no drinks. Turned out.to be $14.75. I was pissed, but it sure did taste good!
