I stopped eating out for lunch the 1st week of February.

I’ve def cut back in lunches and the kind of places I go.
We actually have a break room in one of our floors at the office that all the leftovers from lunch meetings get sent to and I go hunting for that stuff. LOL

I’m thankful it’s just stuff like this I have to cut back on. I see old people, including my parents, who don’t have much money and have been rocked by inflation in all areas.

My usual order at McAlister's back in college cost me $3.27, and that's with tax .

Is it not true?
And I hate Biden with all my heart, but still understand the big picture of what has happened

I took my parents to a Cracker Barrel a few months ago for breakfast and thought it was still pretty reasonable

I spent over $30 at Parkway Tavern for a regular poboy, drink, fries, and a banana pudding. Everything is ridiculous now.

Why have some of you not figured out how the little fancy machine works? It’s easy to not tip

Who said I don't know how to use it?
And it isn’t easy for me not to tip something.
And the “greatly exaggerating” comment by someone else is itself a great exaggeration. The guy who took my order pressed a couple button and threw my shite in a bag from the cook and put it on the counter.

Making customers feel like the should tip in that situation is just another price hike.

Breakfast ain’t cheap anymore. It’s over $30 for 2 for basic breakfast food once tip is included. I quit going.

Did you not think inflating minimum wage would have downstream effect?

Corporate profits are at record levels, but sure, it's the people who are making minimum wage's fault. Lol. Contemporary conservatism is just finding anyway possible to blame poor people so the middle class can act vote contrary to their own interests.

They are almost always at record levels unless the economy is contracting. Do you care if the stock market goes up? Because in general that depends on record corporate profits

It's amazing what the mass propaganda has accomplished.

The younger generation has zero idea who is fricking them and what the solution is.

Corporatism is not capitalism or conservatism. Pull your head out of your arse and read something other than MSM.
