Was at beach last week and did not get a chance to cut yard before I left, so 2 weeks to cut this morning (waiting until 8 to avoid OT protests). Would have done it last night, but it was still mid 90s at 7.

Going to be hot as balls.

Why don’t you pay someone to do it? Sit in the a/c and drink a beer while some other schmuck sweats his sack off.

I push mow in the heat of the day during summer so that I can get a workout.

Park your car in the front yard and add a sofa and no one will notice.

Cutting your own damn yard is a grown man's work and it makes the shower after all the better.

Especially after you cool down on the patio with a big glass of water or gatorade and the fan blowing in your face.

+1. Looking over a fresh cut and edged lawn is a really underrated satisfying feeling.

It's 2019, don't feel trapped by classic gender stereotypes.

Do the math on a weekly lawn service after let’s say, 15 or 20 years. You will be shocked at the results of that investment.

Not to mention that there is a certain satisfaction with doing your own lawn like a real man.
