What if we(my son and me) do it before the rest of the house wakes up on a Saturday or Sunday morning? And his reward is a Polar pop and candy bar at Exxon after?
Then I get back and make the chicks of the house breakfast when they finally arise.

Not every scenario is the same. Ours works magnificently. .

I did the same thing before going on vacation and my wife moaned and groaned. So I was driving home friday ( we leave saturday) and I saw my neighbor who has a mowing business. I paid him 50 bucks and he did it all...33 acres.

Survived.

Hot as balls prediction: [accurate] not accurate

In response to some questions...

1) 22 inch push mower (self propelled, but I don't use it);

2) I make more than enough to pay someone to do it, but:

a) I like doing it myself because it will be done the best that way;
b) it's good exercise;
c) it does make the beer taste better (when I do it in the afternoon)

3) as I noted in the OP, this was my first chance since returning from the beach - hence, Sunday morning;

4) Also edged and weedeated (and hit some spots with Round Up)

Mfer you're as normal as an LLOTOT trying to give female perspective here. Rich faqbutt business owners are not the norm.

Yep, I work in A/C all week. I enjoy the hour of sweating once a week. It is actually peaceful. No phone, no wife, no kids, no coworkers for an hour. Fyi it's 2 acres, so I ride, no pushing.

At a heat index of over 100, i don’t care how butt hurt someone gets about cutting grass. At 6:30-7, the mower is starting

I just cut mine with a reel mower, so no complaining.

(To be fair, I threw in the towel after cutting only the front.)

I spent half of my life cutting grass growing up. My grandparents had 38 acres and about 20 of it wasn't wooded. I never wanted a big yard and I think that's why

You need one of 2 things when you finish cutting grass, ice cold beer or ice cream. Then a cold shower, repeat with beer or ice cream

Same here. I'm in Indiaia and will start in about an hour. It's only mid 80s right now, but it's as humid as Louisiana right now and the a cloud or speck of wind in the sky. At least I'll get one hell of a blowjob when I get out of the shower immediately after. Ita a great routine we have going.

Man, that is one hell of an incentive.

Chit...could ya save some happiness for the rest of us...?

Cut my acre last Friday and then cut some low hanging limbs from my neighbor's trees with a bow saw. After finishing I ran the hose over my head for 5 minutes. Felt alive.

Pushed 1/3 acre right around noon today. Hit the hose several times. Filled the tub with cold water after.

frick it’s hot. Had a hard time mowing in a straight line toward the end.
